Mission Responsibilities
The Board of Fire Commissioners, Fire District 2, Township of Old Bridge New Jersey is committed to providing the highest level of fire protection possible to minimize the impact of fires, disasters, and other emergencies on life and property to all our Residents, Property Owners and Visitors of Fire District 2. We are fully committed to providing adequate staffing, training, and modern firefighting equipment. We fully support fire safety education, fire code enforcement. We are dedicated to providing the residents of Fire District 2 the highest quality of service to our citizens possible through prudent, cost-effective, responsible, and transparent budgetary review and we will ensure the effective use of public funds. We support our dedicated volunteers and career firefighters which serve our community and also provide and support mutual aid agreements throughout our Township to assist when and where needed to mitigate emergency situations. We will look forward to position our district operationally to provide for a long term strategy to keep our firefighters and community safe.
