The Board of Fire Commissioners District No. 3 mission is to protect life and property and also provide efficient, cost effective fire protection to our residents of Howell Township. We shall accomplish this through dedication, education and training on the latest techniques and equipment while maintaining the highest level of safety for our volunteer and career firefighters.
About Your Elected Officials
Five Fire Commissioners are elected by the public to serve staggered 3-year terms. During their term on the Board, Commissioners are responsible for the administration of the Fire District pursuant to the provisions of the statutes of the State of New Jersey.
Your Fire District Officials maintains its meetings and offices at our recently renovated building on our sub-station property located at 1320 Maxim Southard Road. The Board of Fire Commissioners meets publicly on the second Wednesday night of each month starting at 7 p.m.
